My roo is 50%buff Orpington, 50% Silver laced Wyandotte, and mama is Easter egger! 🤩 the two of them hatched 3 different color varieties out of 4 of her eggs from this last hatch, which I found so interesting!

He was a cute little naked neck if anyone is curious. :love We will bury him later today. I’m sad he didn’t make it, and next hatch maybe I’ll really mark the air cells and watch more closely.

So, I candled the egg and the air cell is HUGE - I think he may be shrink wrapped. No internal pip that I could see. I am going to go in and see if he’s alive and I might be able to help him get the process started. I’m afraid it might be too late. He also could have died beforehand so I’m just...
