Purchased my first purebred chickens!! A pair of cream legbars that I have named Thelma & Louise. They are currently 10 weeks old and originated from the states (we are in Ontario).
I am a complete rookie, but would love to know if they would be dubbed "show quality". Any insight would be...
Hey there!
Its time for me to find new homes for my boys. They are all great temperament, going to be heartbreaking to let them go. I would love help just confirming the genders! Id hate to let one of my girls go by a rookie mistake.

#2 - EE Pullet
#3 - OE Cockerel

I've wanted chickens for years, so happy to have finally done it! Our coop set up is almost finished, the flock is slowly becoming more adventurous exploring their run.
Looking forward to planting our raised garden beds, and using the fencing as a trellis for squash, watermelon and Cantaloupe...
Would love help identifying the breeds and confirming gender. I was able to get 9 birds out of 15. I have numbered the birds with my guess on breed/gender. Birds are just over 7.5 weeks old :)
Also, considering keeping one rooster. Would love opinions on which one to consider for temperament...
Thanks. I have a few different combos. But from examples online it looks different from a pea comb. The top part has a round hole indent and then in comes together. Maybe just a juvenile pea comb.
Yes the first three photos are the same bird. I'm trying to identify the breeds, I know the backyard mix they came from. Going to hopefully get some individual photos this week for better identification.
Hey Everyone,
Waiting to get good photos to start identifying my backyard hatch. Been doing research on comb types, and cant quite figure this one out. Birds are 7.5 weeks old, will be rehoming roosters once I know breeds.
It looks like there is a "round hole" on the top part.
Hopefully...
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens
YES! New to chickens, but have grown up working on horse and dairy farms. I got a mixture of backyard hatching eggs, which I started incubating Feb. 10th.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Right now I have 15 chickens...
