    By automatic i mean like fill once a week or so and have it be okay, so they can eat/drink whenever they please. I live in iowa, very close to Omaha Nebraska (in america)

    I am making sure that the dimensions of the new coop will have more than enough space for 20 chickens. At least 4 square feet per bird in the run, at least 1 square feet per bird in the hen house, and at least 1 nesting box per 3 chickens. I have been doing a lot of research on this

    I think I, may start the building early, probably in about a week or so (because I don't live there full time). I have been giving them toys to lighten up the mood a little though

    I cannot let them free range due to vultures, owls, dogs, coyotes, et cedra. But those were the same plan. One paper was just the inside. I did make a new plan though, just to give my father some extra options to choose from
