I am located in the foothills of California and I will be breeding High Quality English Orpingtons...I have the capability of making more than 15 colors right now with a couple others planned. Included is TRUE crele. The only hitch is the babies have to grow up and my breeding pens need repairs to be effective, so hope to get that all taken care of the summer of 2019 while the chicks are maturing to the point to make good selections of what to keep and what to send out. I also have a handful of pretty good quality B/B/S giant cochins. No longer breeding silkies.

I also am working on a colored Sebastopol project that has been going on awhile and have a new little flock of Saxony/Appleyard mixed ducks for egg production.

My daughter is working on a strain of heritage breed turkeys that are very attractively colored that are Pencilled Palm with a little bit of wild California turkey blood in them. She also has a small pen of cochin bantams, a silkie and a naked neck.

Why do you want to join our community?
I have and breed poultry and like to connect with others who do the same. I no longer breed silkies. I needed to opt for something more practical for the homestead life.
