I got my 1st 2 Aracaunas a few weeks ago so blue eggs are still a novelty here.

They are awesome birds. I started with one and now have three hens and two pullets, I'm also planning on adding adding a pure rooster this year so I can breed more. trust me, collecting their eggs never gets boring

Are you on acreage or does your council allow roosters? I've read Araucanas can be difficult to breed. Do you have experience? Curious as they're something I'd consider if I'm ever in a position to keep roosters.
My blue eggs are from my Araucana, sometimes my Araucana cross who lays green will lay an egg with thicker bloom so it looks blue as well
