It's broke down in the garage right now. I have an injector issue. I plan on rebuilding the cooling system while I have it in the garage. Always something to do!

The big girls will be fine but I'm planning to bring the Polish ladies into the garage.

Betty was born last May so she is 9 months old. Phyllis is over 2 years old. Frizzles like Betty are susceptible to extreme cold as they can't control their feathers. They can't fluff them and create a heat barrier like other chickens. Regular Polish are not great in extreme cold either so when it goes to single digits I like to bring Phyllis into the garage.

Ooooh, ok. I thought became polish are fluffy and have all that "hair", they would be better than others in the cold.

Polish are smaller chickens. Phyllis is just 3.5 lbs. Betty seems heftier. I have not weighed her yet.
