Chickcozy is an automatic chicken door that opens and closes horizontally from the center to both sides. It has a built-in safety touch sensor, to avoid accidents.
The Chickcozy automatic chicken door requires no assembly. All you need is a right size opening and attach it with 6 screws to the coop.
Mine works on batteries. Pre installed on daylight open / close. Alternative possible to open / close on time.
Installation and have it working on the daylight sensor took me only 15 minutes.
I have it operational for two weeks, no failures.

Door Size opened: 16.7"W x 13.9"H (425 x 353 mm)
Door Size Closed: 12''W x 13.9"
You can only order it online. Delivery took about 10 days. No reselling at a shop.
The chat didnt work when I had a question. I could reset the door by taking the batteries out.

I relocated the Chickcozy and use it about 4 months on the new location. The door closed too early for the chickens to go inside in standard light mode. Adjusted it to the minimum light for closing, with a 10 minute time delay.
I had one failure. The door didn’t close after the rail got dirty with mud. Cleaning it was enough to make it work again.
The batteries seem to go flat after approx. 6 months.

The batteries did go flat after approximately 6 months. Tip check the battery regularly after 4-5 months. If the battery says 10% replace it. There is no warning. The door just didn’t open one morning.
The door is possibly not safe for racoons. I don’t know how strong they are to force the door.
