What about Alexander 1: 3-9
If they are scared, protect them, and if they are hungry, feed them.
Have your mindset on what the chooks need from the grocery store.
At all times, be attentive to clean water and food for them.
Always feed them before you feed yourselves. And if they cry loud...
😞 So alone tonight in my house. No chickens in the spare room, no chickens on my bed. Nothing really interesting on TV.
My roo would know what to do on nights like this. But he is having a blast up in chicken heaven. And has no time for me anymore. :hit
How true that statement was, and I didn’t know how soon I would lose him. It makes me crazy, that I don’t have a rooster, just now, as I need one the most!!
For those who don’t know:
In the sky= me flying my Cessna SkyHawk
Xzit = my Barred Rock hen
Funeral= the town having Memorial Day ceremonies. Full Military honors
I had a great time in the sky. I stayed for the festival and honor guard. Almost received a speeding ticket for the trip to the cemetery. But I explained the situation and got out of it. Home now and the girls are picking on Xzit. So she’s inside with me having steaks 🥩
I was hoping that lil Wyandotte was going to be an easy lap chicken. But he isn’t cooperating.
However, lil Blue has a permanent spot on my chest, and she knows it. They gobbled up that ear of corn, in five minutes.
Nothing to report yet. I haven’t gone outside. But I’m hopeful. :fl
They survived the long dark night. All look good this morning.
I will mix the two tribes together today after church. It’s gotta happen sometime soon because they will be sharing the coop. And run.
I went and checked on them again. So far they are all grouped closely together. I think that they will be fine, but as a concerned daddy, it’s like a daughter being out too late. Times six :old :barnie
