I'm asthmatic. I always have multiple rescue inhalers. I went through several of them. Couldn't really breathe in deep enough and hold it long enough. Took awhile each morning just to get to the point I could use the control inhaler.
I'm glad you're ok. I recommend sleep if you can
You catch Covid? When we both got sick with it that happened to us. Lost appetite to go with all the coughing
The first time that I'm pretty sure I had it was worse than that. Lost smell, couldn't eat. Couldn't breathe. Overused inhaler and almost ended up at hospital
This is a 2 year old rooster. He's molting but even when not he's not the best but he's friendly. Just want to show his leg. Many of my roosters do not have spurs.
A trio ran $120 when I last bought. Might be $150 now. Good quality birds that could taken to show. Anyone charging outrageous prices probably isn't a good breeder. Even the best national breeders charge a reasonable amount. There is a local "breeder" who cranks out birds to sell to the pet...
I take offense at the orange roosters that pop up in partridge, even though my first one was orange. Took me a long time to get rid of that.
I've been working on darkening up the black. I have a couple boys who went a bit too far and don't have proper colored saddle feathers but they should...
It's partridge, just a darker hen who wouldn't be red headed. Silkie partridge should be lighter, but dark hens pop up sometimes.
Moorhead is not accepted in silkies for partridge, but I believe certain other breeds have it for standard in their's.
Ive found the good partridge silkie show...
I only know a small amount of genes and how they work.
Most silkies have some partridge somewhere in the background, but gene mixing makes them not be that.
That reddish hen I have from pure partridge breeding I wouldn't call partridge. She doesn't have the proper body color and patterning...
So I get to explain to my hand doctor tomorrow that no, my husband doesn't hurt me. The bruise on my forehead is from me hitting myself in the head with the truck door last night.
They always ask. I'm such a klutz
It's been used for that purpose. If you have normal BP or mild there usually isn't problems and it could lower it a few points. It can react with the meds, though
They are mealy and no real flavor. Be careful as they can lower blood pressure, so if you have issues and take meds. I leave them for the birds. They eat them well into December
So pretty.
Looks close to my little boy. He confuses me because I know his actual background. He's from the blue egg project pen. I'm not planning on breeding him, but he may go in with the large fowl layers. He's 14 weeks old so no where old enough to move him yet.
Its derived from partridge originally if I remember correctly. E locus modifier is the main difference. Wild type partridge, without the lacing pattern, is basically chicken default color.
The odd thing is that I only have recessive white and that should cover everything when expressed since it...
I can't figure out how partridge, wheaten, and recessive white could give me this. I've never had one look like this. He's from a quarter ameraucana hen. The recessive white pops up on me occasionally. Ive had 7 white birds in a decade now. This is the only one not pure white. He's got that...
