I wouldn't Queston it being a mutation but the black chick is much smaller than the lavender and the white one, head is also much smaller and rounder it does not look like its even a Orpington at lest the yellow chick looks like my other buff Orpington as chicks
They just hatched out the day after Thanksgiving just lost one of yellow ones today. I contacted him about the color problem and he said he's never had any problems with the ones he hatched out or no complains from anyone else, he said maybe the air travel did something to them mutated them...
Think I beef to write the seller mange he just sent others colors as the extras that came with thetwelve I bought, I hope that's the case otherwise I'll just throw them in my mix flock and find a different breeder. Anyone know of any that are good but don't cost a fortune
I heat that lavenders ate still a project bird but does anyone know the constancy of the coloring I got eggs for hatching and enders up with two yellow and one black the rest are the silvery lavender you would expect
