I have had such a crazy busy winter/early-spring that I only just this week set up my breeding pens for my blue andalusian-ameraucana project. I am so excited to get hatching! I had not hatched a single chick in one year! Just pretty much spent the last 12 months watching my birds grow out...

The egg in the first column is the olive egg. Is that the F1? When it says F1 bred to dark layer, offspring bred to dark layer. Is that just kinda saying the same thing twice? Or does it mean F1 (the original olive egger) bred to a dark layer then...

Here is a pic of a 3 month old blue andalusian. I do believe that this bird has all the pattern genes.

It may be the wrong time of year. I waited months and months to get eggs from Tom. And had to get eggs shipped a couple times cuz the first batch didn't develop. I even had to have the eggs shipped in a live chick box in the hopes that they would fare better with the post office.
