He is an OEGB and Crele is his variety (color). Sorry, was because I forgot to post his variety name. I raise this variety for show and I really like this bird.

Female line means that your pair of birds will produce "show quality" female birds. Your males that are produced from your pair will have higher tail carriage and smaller frames. Of course, their is always a chance of that special male birds that comes from a "female line" breeding.

Every show I've been to require a numbered leg band. These shows were in Oklohoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. And yes I've been to a few 4-H and State Fair shows. I'm sure its the club "hosting" the show that wants the bands. Sooooo, I need a numbered leg band to show birds.
A numbered leg band is required to show a bird. The number on the leg needs to match the number on the exibition card. I can't remember the size number but most poultry catalogs have a chart that show which size goes for each breed. I thinks is a size 5 or 6, but I'm not sure.
