I bought a pair of porcelain oegs this summer. I tried hatching her eggs and none were fertile. I assumed the rooster was too young or something so I put her in my mixed pen, which is mostly mille fluers. She always laid in the same nest so I thought I knew which eggs were hers and thought I'd...
I don't know genetics but I believe she is called a splash and if you want more like her, cross her with your blue? Maybe someone else can give you a more definite answer.
Very pretty little birds.
I don't know a whole lot about the colors and crosses but they look like maybe a blue red cross with crele? Or maybe blue red with barred? Or possibly lemon blue crosses? Probably not an established color but I think I would hatch some of their eggs just to see if they...

I think I might be figuring out the blue, that is what I was thinking.
Another question, though, I have a chocolate hen, has anyone crossed chocolate with mille and what would happen with that? Thanks very much for your answers.
I've posted this request in a couple of other threads and thought that I'd try here also: I don't know if anyone can help me but I went to the Waverly, Iowa swap this spring and saw a trio of mille fleur OEGBs. With our late, late spring in Minnesota, I really didn't have a place to put them so...
