    Just remember to build your strength up at your pace. I didn't ride my bicycle all winter and it took me a month of very short rides to build back up. It amazes me how fast I lost the muscle strength in my legs last winter. JT

    We are in Collinsville IL for the weekend and it has rained on and off all weekend. We went to the Bloomington Gold then to the International Horseradish Festival then today to the Route 66 Festival. Now we are both very tired and ready to head back to the barn tomorrow. JT

    The main reason I'm not getting any more chickens is how long they might live with me turning 72 this year and the Mrs turning 75 we are trying to travel more and work less. And my assistant chicken tender has a real hard time getting around so I don't like to burden him too often to take care...

    We got 1 1/2" of rain from that storm yesterday. They had tornado sightings in Cape Girardeau. We watched the channel 12 news and it had a camera showing the tornado but it was hard to see. JT
