    I have a doe that tolerates me walking back and forth between the machine shop and she has taken up residency under the carport behind some stuff so I think she has chosen that as the spot for her fawn when it arrives. Let's see shelter, protection, food and water and an ole fart that feeds me...

    My last Rhode Island Red hen will be 7 years old on 8/16/24 and continues to lay eggs and looks really healthy. I'm just amazed by her. The other two Cinnamon Queen hens are laying regularly and yesterday I got 3 eggs. Kinda strange to only have 3 hens in the yard but they have plenty of room...

    No, when these are gone I'm done with chickens. Don't get me wrong, I like having chickens but my assistant Chicken Tender is having a hard time getting around and without him taking care of the chickens we can't travel. JT
