Hey guys. I know it's not the right time of year but does anyone have any eggs they could sell/ship? I lost Fred, lucky, and a little male I had in the last month. I still have the boy we took in but he attack my husband and I'm not sure if hubby will keep putting up with it. So now I have 6...
He's very friendly. Needs a girlfriend but I can pick him up and pet him. I'll get his feet soaked. His last owner said his feet had always been like that. My vet vouched for her so maybe a birth defect. I'll get better pics tomorrow. Still getting to know him and didnt want to push it to far.
I'll try tomorrow. There's no black scabs that I can see but I know they could be covered in dirt. His toes almost look twisted. But her gets around really well. No limping at all.
Hey guys! My little guy is still alive and growing. I think it is okay to give him a name now. If he doesn't make it it'll be for some other reason. If anyone has ideas for names let me know. Right now all I have is lucky or miracle lol.
Is it normal for my Tom to wimp out on me during a...
Just wanted to update that hes still doing good! A hole the size of a nickel and at least 15 nasties in him and he survived. Completely scabbed up. I gave him a little silkie companion under a watchful eye. Can't believe it. Thanks for the support! Can't sell him now lol.
We have that here too. My tom Fred and Sweetie are the welcoming committee when people come to buy. People are so afraid of Fred untill he comes up for a pet
Omg how cute! I have 13 6 week olds that follow me everywhere but no lap turkeys yet. I was worried about getting attached but hubby tells me hes still doing well. I'm so shocked by it. Still worried I'm going to loose him but maybe it'll turn out okay!
The little guy is still doing okay. I'm just shocked. Will he be okay alone. I have over 100 week old chicks I could put one in but if it sees the hole in its belly it probably wont end well.
The little guy is still hanging in there. I keep checking but I dont see anymore nastiness in him. Eating and drinking a running around. I thought itd be gone by noon. I'm trying not to be hopeful. Id like to put a chick in with it but worried about pecking
Thanks. I think next time I'll give them a chance to practice with chicken eggs. My yard is full of newbie moms this year. Ducks, chickens, guineas, turkeys and its getting hard dealing with losses but Im hoping that next year it'll be easier.
Went out this morning and her two healthy babies are gone. I'm switching to incubator for turkeys. The only one that's being a good mom is the one that had guinea eggs under her. And she only managed to hatch two.
