Thank you both!
It was pretty deep and I don’t think we got rid of the original BF. I know it takes time but I suppose as we really don’t have any idea what we are doing really haha, we are just worried.
Thanks for the peace of mind!
I suppose it won’t hurt to Vaseline her legs either...
We have been treating one of our hens Dame Shirley Bassey for bumblefoot, for the second time (although we aren’t convinced we got all of the abscess/pus out the first time)
She is around 4 years old now, but we are also wondering if perhaps she also has a case of scaly leg mites also...
Thank you, and thank you again for your infinite wisdom, I fear here it was a little too late. But hopefully it is at peace now and we gave it a loving home for 24 hours.
I just wonder how it even got there in the first place.
My OH has been giving it water with a teaspoon and it’s been taking it. I’m going to see if I can get a smaller tube, should I use the cocci medication too or hold off for now?

It was very lively yesterday and we fed it with some hand feed and water.
This morning we thought it was...
@casportpony not sure if you can come to my rescue again?
Blue has been very healthy since the last time you helped me with his respiratory problems.
Yesterday however Blue seems to have taken a downturn, I don’t think it is respiratory, his poop is white and runny and he is refusing to eat and...
Today we have an almost 100% normal Blue. He couldn’t wait to wolf down his favourite treats, which is the first time since being unwell again! He is 1000% more active and we are very lucky with the weather, so he has also been sunbathing!
Thanks for everything Kathy @casportpony x
@casportpony, just a quick update, we decided not to tube feed last night to cause him less stress and this morning Blue was eating his own food! We decided to tube feed him again this morning with electrolytes, hand feed and some
probiotics, just to be sure. After feeding him, he swiftly went...
I am also now in possession of the Nystatin and Fluconazole. Should I begin with the Nystatin and see if there is improvement or administer both at the same time?
