Just stack um up :-) my oldest hen just died at 13 years old. No eggs that I could tell but she never stopped going broody (she stole eggs from other hens)
I hatched out 2 out of 3 eggs with mine. I had to use more aluminum foil for more heat from the light bulb and to retain the heat I had to place it inside a small cardboard box. You'd have to buy a digital thermometer with a probe because the thermometer tht comes with it doesn't work that well...
I called last year and no one ever picked up. I then emailed them and never got a reply. So then since I only live about 30 minutes away I decided to drive over there and check it out. It's a run down place with a little trailer for an office, I just turned back and stopped trying to contact them.
Hello everyone,
I recently lost my buff Cochin rooster. He was attacked by a stray dog that got into my backyard. If anyone has any buff Cochins please let me know.
Thanks,
Freddy
32 eggs out of the 41 I put in never developed. 8 look like they are ok and 1 looks like it's not fully developed. Hopefully I'll have better luck with the next batch.
