So I guess because I didn't pay for my membership I now get ads that pop up right where the alerts and inbox info shows. WAY TO GO BYC! Not only is your website to hard to navigate now we can't see our few groups we follow! Another reason to NOT be on BYC.
Montgomery Cheatham Dickson.... those will have the best house prices. USDA Limits how much they will finance on a house... the market here is CRAZY so you might need to go with another type of mortgage to be able to get a house. If you get a house in an area zoned AG you can have any farm...
Bet it hasn't changed much! LOL To me it has died since they changed to this new format. Maybe I am just old but I am not going to try to learn new tricks. I don't like it.
I do not. Sorry. I do have a pen set up but I have not hatched anything since last june. If you can't find any try Rural King in Clarksville. The usually have them all the time. I bought some last year but most turned out to be white rocks... I do have those for sale LOL.
I have LOTS of pullets that are just starting to lay. I don't have RIR or BR I do have Partridge Rocks and several Leghorn colors. Message me if you want more info. I am just in North Nashville.
I did realize that but that garlic is expensive to get the heads so I took the cheap route! The ones I got from the store I will be able to harvest this year so that is fine. I would be happy to trade hatching eggs if you want! Would love some different types of garlic.
That guide was...
The Farmers Market here is quite small too and the paperwork I think is required by the state. Not required to have Ins but it is suggested. Where are you? There is a good size one in Donelson. Here is a link to the state stuff...
IDK what the rules are in Ashland City, but if it is zoned agricultural you can have all you want... even in Davidson Co. My farm is in Davidson and I am WELL over the limit but we are zoned AG. Funny there was a big fuss in FB on the County thread over some game birds on one of the main...
Really? can't sell them at the farmers market? I would think that would sell well. I wouldn't mind getting some from you. I have not read up on those, I got some hardnecks and a hardneck from the store LOL. The reg garlic from the store never sprouted, must have been treated.
What kind of garlic? I have mine in a modified bucket. I have a water tank of sorts in the bottom and any extra can run out so they are not water logged. I planted some tiny bulbs last fall and they have really grown over the winter. I got some hardneck types can't wait to try them.
I am...
Boot have been my friend this month. I will say I am glad it is not arctic cold too... got to count your blessing where you can. Last year we had tornadoes that hit our farm.
I don't know if they are indeterminate or not but I LOVE Matts Wild Cherry, Sweet Williams and Black cherry. Better boy are what my hubby loves and Cherokee purple. Brandywines.... clearly we like heirlooms. I grew mine in a bucket so they had a CONSTANT supply of water. I made a reservoir...
Tragically I live in the SOUTH... just not far enough south this winter. I couldn't do it if I lived in a colder area. This year was just BRUTAL! It blew out a hose pipe that was still on, then the supply line under ground AND my chicken water system! Still have not fixed the chicken system...
I have not been on here much since they changed the format. I am sure as the weather breaks people will start posting. My birds are just now picking up... it has been a hard winter here... much colder than we usually get and LONGER!
