    Hi, I'm going to build an 8x10 coop and attached run. I live in east Texas, and we get tornado warnings. What kind of measures dovish need to take so my coop doesnt blow away?? Lol I'm very new to Texas....do they even blow away? Lol would love any input. Thank you!!

    I'm in East Texas. All my chickens are under 5 months old. I just checked on her and she isn't panting quite as much as earlier. I think she was panting so hard cuz she was inside the coop. I'm sorry about your older hens. I bet they've had a good life

    I did open the top door to her boxes to let in air. I gave them some frozen blueberries and turned on the hose and she came out. She drank water and her panting has slowed down. I just hope she's not having any issues laying eggs.
