What are your thoughts on putting eggs in cartons once on lockdown to prevent the hatched babies from rolling the other eggs around? We are going on vacation Friday and eggs should hatch on Sunday and I know my son won't be in and out checking like my daughter and I do.

Looking for half dozen hatching eggs from exhibition quality birds for 4-h student. Would like to set them early May with eggs I'll be setting for my dad.

I have 3 pens of chickens. Asst layers, Silkies, and Orps. The Orps have had diarhea for a while. They are the only pen that does. All pens get let out for some excersize in the evenings. Any ideas as to why just the chickens in the one pen? And what can I do about it>
