    August 2024 hatch-a-long

    I have started incubating for a August hatch. So far 24 eggs in which are 10 Marans, 7 olive eggers and 7 Marans cross due to hatch around August 7th. I'll probably collect another batch for the end of August.

    Large mass on newly hatched chicks eye

    Has anyone seen anything like this before? Hatched yesterday or today. Its left eye is normal, its just closed it as I was taking photos. its right clearly has something wrong with it. It moves a little when it moves its eyes, not sure if this is the eye or it's a mass.
