    Grumpy turkey

I have a 4 week old black Spanish Turkey who I’m almost 100% sure is a male. He’s super grumpy all of a sudden. He originally had 2 others with him (also males) we can only have 2 & have a small property. He was the loner turkey the entire time so we chose to keep him since he seemed fine alone...

I have 3, 5 day old turkey poults. Hatched in incubator and kept indoors. They have a wide variety of poop and I want to make sure they are ok. Some looks like normal bird poop and some looks like foam. Should I treat them with anything? They are eating Kalmbacnon non-GMO starter feed 28%...

    New Zealand or mini Rex

What makes a better pet for a child a mini Rex or a New Zealand? We’ve had holland lops in the past and a few mixed foster bunnies. I have an 8 and 5 year old and they want a bunny they can handle and love on. I’ve narrowed it down to those 2 but now I just can’t decide:)

Do all chickens roost or perch? Male and female?

I have a 4 week old Swedish isbar that I’m dying to find out the sex! S/he is always perched up on the little stand and I’m curious if it’s a sign of it being a hen or rooster? Sorry the pen looks dirty reguardless of the fact that it was just cleaned an hour ago

    Separating chicks

We currently have 3 chick, 2 silkies and 1 Swedish isbar. Once we find out who’s a hen and who’s a rooster we will be finding homes for the roosters and keeping hens. When I separate them they all go crazy! I took the Swedish isbar out to explore the backyard alone yesterday and she/he could...

    Best for silkie chicks

Hi! I pick up my 3 silkie chicks tomorrow & can’t wait! What do you all suggest using for bedding until they go out to the coop & do they need starter & grit or does the started have grit? I don’t want to miss anything they need. Thank you!
