    Pretender hen

    I got her in a mixed bantam bin last year so I don't what she is. I initially noticed her poof and then began trying to figure out her breed. She has a v comb and 5 toes.I landed on sultan but realized she doesn't have feathered feet. So now I just assume she is some kind of mix. Any ideas?

    I'm stumped

    Pullet or roo? I was almost certain this chick was a pullet and now I'm leaning towards cockerel. 5 weeks come Saturday. The only thing is it's the skin around the comb that's pink not the actual comb and it's kind of a big comb. I don't know.

    It's just about 4 weeks but I'm calling it. This is now tiny tim and (assorted bantams -I think conchin)he is a roo. Maybe I'm imagining but I checked this morning and now the waddles are pinking up. So hen or roo? I'm also comparing to the other conchin "girls" which are still yellow.

    Does anyone have any tips for sexing a black bantam sultan? Its still early just over 3 weeks but I'm getting roo energy either that or she is mighty bossy.

    I purchased some assorted bantams from my local feed store. I didn't actually pick them out but I was supposed to get 2 frizzles. So far only one is frizzling , while the other is ... Not. I have no idea what it is. It has 5 toes so maybe a silkie mix but there is no crest or blue "lobes"...
