    I just got a quad of coturnix quail (about 9 weeks old). They are laying eggs already. Well the only feed my store had was Purina Game Feed Chow which looks like is only 20 percent protein. I bought a 50 lb bag.... Now what should I do since that isn't enough protein?

    My runner ducks will be 20 weeks old the 2nd week in September. My question is will they lay? Everything I've read says they need 14 hours of light, but by then I don't think we will have 14 hours as fall will be on its way in. I don't plan on putting a light in their house so....... No eggs...

    The blue ameraucana babies are from my own stock - I ended up w/ 4 blues and 2 blacks. I purchased silver laced wyandotte hatching eggs from FlashPointFarm and got a 75% hatch rate. Look at these adorable chicks! They are in 2 different shades.
