I have lost 4 5-6 week old chicks in about a week. Weak legs to paralysis then weird neck angles. The rest of the group all seem fine now. Anything I can do to make sure they don't get sick? Please help.

They have regular water and game bird starter. Nothing green or any supplements.

Had 2 silkies hatch yesterdayand overnight. Took them out of bator this morning and put in with a few that are 3 wks old. Noticed the 2 hatchlings had green runny poop. Is that normal and I just never noticed it or should I be concerned?

Oops. Silkies .Just mark the ones you want her to hatch then check and remove new eggs.

My silliest have hatched plenty of chicks in the pen with the rest no problem

So I candles and only saw 3 floating air cells. Didn't see anything in the others do I'm assuming that's good. Will try the no turning for 7 days.

Anyone ever had a rooster with a crooked tail? Its turning into a nice tail but it angles off to the side instead of straight back. He is the only Barnie that I have. Tried hatching this spring and he was it. Is it hereditary of just a fluke?

Well this is day 6 of the Corid treatment. I have 5 of the original 8. These all seem to be doing fine.

I have a question about the feathers on the chicks I have. 3 have small wing feathers and 3 have wing feathers longer than thier body. They are all the same age. Does the feathering indicate the sex of the bird? Will try to get pics later today.
