Try taking a picture of the feet next to each other, then look at the photos later, perhaps with a better monitor. Sometimes seeing a picture makes subtle differences obvious.

Hmm, I don't remember, but the key really is the leg color. Speckled sussex have very white legs which may look pink when young. Hope that helps! I think the mystery birds were dark cornish.

Hi, reviving an old thread with a picture of a semi-frizzled chicken I hatched (and sold to a friend). This is a blue tolbunt project pullet. Normally, the frizzles that I hatch are very frizzled. This one just looks like the feathers stick out a little bit -- neither smooth nor fully frizzled.

Thanks again. The "wing hold" was brief for the picture and he is light. He wouldn't show his legs otherwise.

Speckled Sussex was my guess, too. What other breed has pinkish white legs?

Hi, My friend says these are roosters and I'm not completely convinced because I have never raised partridge rocks (hatchery stock). Do these look like roos? They are about 9 weeks old. Thanks in advance!

Lol, I still check this thread. Yes, I sold the female-looking one. I seem to hatch a lot of frizzles. I'll see if I have any extras when I go through my grow out pen. I have babies, just not sure who's female yet. Feel free to PM me if I forget :)

Lol, thanks :) I know the breed (Tolbunt polish) because I have the parents. These don't look as tolbunt-y as I'd like, so I'm selling them, but need to separate the girls from the boys.
