    No on the turkeys. Coyotes, and in my unlucky experience, bobcats, will both kill turkeys. I had a bobcat kill my full grown tom turkey. The only way I knew is because I had it on video (of the bobcat coming back to retrieve the turkey).

    I second that. CD's do not work. I had the exact thing happen, hawk took a chick right from where I had all the CD's hanging. Don't waste your time.

    Bobcat is my guess. I had a terrible issue with one last year. Killed my adult tom turkey and hand-raised peahen that I had for years. Got him on video.

    You know I never did get the bobcat. It either moved on or someone else got it, as I know it was attacking at least one other person's livestock. Definitely not normal behavior for a bobcat. At any rate, all birds are locked up now at night and when I'm not home.

    Yes it has, in fact it was back yesterday, this time during the DAY! I heard a huge commotion and by the time I got out there all I found was an injured peahen, and it was out of sight.     Agreed. It's not a matter of if, but when, he'll come back to this part of his territory. I have my backyard under surveillance. It left hungry last time, so maybe that's a good thing. I might never have the chance to shoot it.
