Yep, this is normal. They are imprinted on you as "Mom". They will be more interested in each other next year, especially if they are a pair. Sebby's are a very people friendly breed and will probably always prefer being near you. Our girl would often sit looking at us through the window...
These chicks hatched last year on Easter Sunday. They have grown up to be very pretty, friendly hens named "Ashes" and "Powdered Sugar" they are Maran/Olive Egger mixes.

This is "Ms. Goosey", my first Sebby! We had other much loved geese years ago, Emdens "Petunia and Charles" She is very sweet and friendly. It is so nice to have a goose in the family again.
...when you consider taking your newest awesome chicken , or cute baby chick , to show off at work, and can't understand why everyone wouldn't want to have a pet chicken in the office , and really hate it when some jerk at work thinks it's funny if he asks if you have brought in "lunch"
Gail Smile, cuz My name IS Gail and I'm a dental hygienist
Or you can read it as Gail's Mile cuz I'm reaching across the miles.
This is the nickname I use everywhere on the internet, so if you see it somewhere's else it's ME.
This was my favorite rooster, from a few years ago, that has sadly passed on. I would love another, but really have no idea what he was. I got him as a half-grown chick at an animal flea market. He was a friendly, bantam size, partly Mille fleur colored, but not feather legged. I named him...
This is my frizzle hen (in my avatar photo), poor thing, always looks "unique". I worry about her during the winter, but her fellow hens seem to help keep her warm.

They are sure cute and pretty. How old are they, how long have you had them? How do they compare to other breeds in temperament and noise level? I had emdems before and have been considering normal sized pilgrims or sebbys.
Not legal
Did have a problem with the city a few years ago when an employee heard my rooster, had no complaint from neighbors, got lots of signatures from neighbors on a petition to change the ordinance, but when the city realized I was prepared to fight, they dropped it.
Now I do have only hens.
