Sorry, but I'm in the 3-day shipping area and am not buying chicks at the moment. Do you do PayPal? Do you have pictures of the parent flock for those who are interested? On a side note, perhaps posting this in some local threads might be helpful: Find Your State's or Your Country's Thread.

I prefer chickens. Turkeys have cool personalities, but I've had more success in raising chickens than turkeys.

I haven't heard the grind when in reverse yet. A few years ago I did hear that they were making a different backup sound though, but I thought it was only for big trucks. :welcome Welcome to BackYard Chickens! Could you get a picture showing more of its hackles, saddle, and tail? For its age, the face could be showing an early maturing hen, but the markings look more rooster. I can't see a lot of sickles going on, but I am suspecting roo.
