We just rescued these two and one laid an egg last night! One has bumblefoot which was treated today. They are super sweet, don’t know if that is common w breed or not.

You need to have some sort of fencing. I have a friend that has a duck house which he puts them in at night. We live on small lake w chain link fence enclosed backyard. We have not had a predator problem other than a hawk got one several years ago.

I have to move Muscovy that’s sitting on eggs. Last year we had same situation and just put eggs under another duck and they all hatched. These are pets.
One older male, he doesn’t reproduce anymore and one young male about a year old. Older female, doesn’t reproduce and young female about a year. Older couple were abandoned at a county park and crossed a four lane highway to visit Walmart! LOL
