Hello! Long time! Life has been busy and crazy as I'm sure for everyone!
I moved from the city to the hill country of Texas about 2 and a half years ago. I went from just a few chickens to now I have a giant flock of free rangers! All sorts of chickens and roosters in the mix. And I've now...
So I have gotten a nice amount of chick's from tractor supply in February. I have 2 that were to be plymouth rock hens. But they do not look the same AT ALL. One is barred nicely already have a nice big comb and wattles. The other... has a very almost nonexistent comb. And barely any wattle. But...
So at the moment i have one chicken. Long story but it wont be for long she will have a flock soon.

I've noticed her poop has been super watery. Not always. But maybe 2 or 3 times a day. Like a lot of watery and...
My husband says they look they're picking up their pants to run when they go full speed. We used to have a silkie roo who did it so well he looked like an old man when he ran.
Thats the only way mine will take worms is if i tap by it. They haul feathers from across the yard. If i cant find my youngest hen cause she doesnt stay with the other ladies I yell "tweet tweet!" And she comes like a bullet.
I have no pictures but i have a hen who is obsessed with watching us in the kitchen. Anytime we do dishes or cook shes up at the window pacing and talking nonstop to us. It's funny ill give her scraps like lettuce and tomatoes and whatever veggie ends i have and she wont touch them. But as soon...
