    They should be alright my humidity dropped overnight a few times when hatching geese and ducks and had 3 out of 4 duck eggs and all 6 goose eggs hatch.

    Remove paper towels and use pine shavings 3rd day. The paper towels or old sheet is to sprinkle feed on so they can find the food and learn to eat food and not the shavings. Also sprinkle grit over their food. Good luck.

    Do turkeys scratch like chickens do? I ordered 20 and have lost 5 already. I only raised turkeys once and that was with guineas so not exactly sure the difference in raising turkeys and chickens.

    Thank you I will try sand. I have used sand before with guineas. The alfalfa seemed to help some and they enjoyed eating the small leaves.
