I have 2 roosters that need rehoming. One is a year old mix who is too aggressive with the 3 year old child and the other is an approx. 4 week old australorp that was a whoops from tractor supply.
I got this chick from tractor supply and they said it was a pullet isa brown but I don’t think it is. It seems to have all black feet and I’m hoping it’s a pullet but they like to jump on the other chicks in the brooder. I think it’s about 2-3 weeks old roughly.
I have a day old baby chick that can’t stand up and keeps falling over on their left side. She can move both legs and doesn’t seem to have any foot problems. She falls on he left side and can’t roll back over. She’s lively and loud and this seems to be the only thing wrong.
These are my golden sebright and old English babies. They were hatched in October and I am wondering if they are old enough to be by themselves. They have been with mom but away from the other chickens in a separate bit next door coop. And if they are, I was wondering how I would introduce them...
My old English hen just had 9 babies with my golden sebright. Does anyone know what they will look like? And do you know if they are sex linked? Some have brown heads and some have white heads. If it matters, old English is momma and sebright is daddy.
I have a hen with all of these scabs on her head and I looked it up and I think it’s fowlpox but I’m not sure. I think my roosters had it at one point but it is gone on them and my other hen has it as well but not as severely and hers are also going away. Is that what it is? And if so, what can...
I have a silkie which I thought was a cockerel but does not act like a boy. He doesn’t crow or try to fight (except for my dog) and my other rooster is dancing around him like he is a pullet. Does my rooster know better than I do? This is also my first time having a silkie so I’m not sure.
I purchased a random assortment of bantams from tractor supply and I have no idea what 3 of them are. I know I have a silkie (very obvious) but the others I don’t know. They’re about 2 months old. If you could be able to tell rooster or hen too that would be awesome!
