once they are about 6" tall they start locking jaws and kick each other endlessly. idk if they develop a pecking order or not because i separated the boys. anyone that says there are no differneces between sexes never raised an animal
had shamo hen x oeg. they were great pets and shamo hen was very protective... but the little boys started locking jaws when they were 6" tall and would kick each other until they were exhausted. sure couldnt have that going on.

you know my setters dont get up... not even to poop when on the nest... once up and out of the box they drop a huge poop.... if they were on the nest any longer they might explode and leave a heck of a mess... but i am just a rookie, imagining i guess.

nope... dropped it down to near ground level now and they wont touch it... they run out of the coop in the morning to get a drink from their old waterer... the one they used as chicks.. and they drink and drink etc...
