    Coccidiosis or Intestinal Lining?

Thank you for your response! I probably also should have mentioned that I have 4 other hens as well & one just got over being broody so I didn’t know if the blood could have been from her. Everyone is on medicated feed at the moment. I will use the Corrid. Do you happen to know how much I...

    Coccidiosis or Intestinal Lining?

Sorry for the DE everywhere I’m trying to clean the coop. Is this coccidiosis or intestinal lining? I have 3 12 week old pullets and I’m just concerned they may be sick..? But they look normal, still forging together and feathers look normal. I do have Corid on hand if you think I should use it.

    Cocci or intestinal lining?

I’m not sure. I just know that when I ordered them they said at pickup the 2 month olds would be fully feathered, living outside, vaccinated and dewormed.

    Cocci or intestinal lining?

Thank you for your reply. I believe they are vaccinated for mareks, mycoplasma, fowl pox, and dewormed.

    Cocci or intestinal lining?

I picked up 3 pullets from a local poultry farm on Saturday. They have been vaccinated and are on medicated feed. They seem to be happy & I’ve witnessed them drinking and eating. Making sure these babies don’t die on me makes me a nervous wreck! Please help me identify if they are ok or not...

    Integrating chicks with hens

So far so good all being in the main coop together. I had to show them where the roost were, poor things were trying to roost on their water jug lol. But I keep checking on them to make sure everything is ok. My husband was like “if you keep watching them you’re just gonna end up with your...

    Integrating chicks with hens

That's excellent! The babies are probably in a 42 inch kennel so it would take up a lot of space in the coop. I think whenever I get home this evening we will let them all free range again and then put them all together tonight and see. Or maybe I could place them outside the coop for tonight...

    Integrating chicks with hens

The crate they've been staying in has been on my back porch. The coop is a little over 60 sq ft. but not sure on exact measurements.

    Integrating chicks with hens

I have two 12 week old chicks that are getting a little too big for the kennel they are currently in. Do you think it’s ok to put them with my big chickens now? I have 4 hens. They all free range together on the weekends and we haven’t seen an issue. We keep the big coop door open while everyone...

    Bloody stool? Pics attached!

They’ve been on it since Tuesday night & the one that looked lame has bounced back already. So I’ll do the lower dose. Thank you so much for the help!

    Bloody stool? Pics attached!

Maybe? Would you recommend that I keep doing the tablespoon mixed in their water for 5 days as the guy suggested? Or switch to a little under a half a teaspoon for the remaining 3 days? I'm so sorry for my ignorance, I'm just petrified that I'm going to overdoes/kill them.

    Bloody stool? Pics attached!

Ok thank you! Maybe it was a misunderstanding between me and the guy at the feed store but I was giving them a tablespoon. Although they've probably only drank half of the jar in a day.

I got the corid and I think I'm giving too much. Would you be able to tell me how much corid to give for 750ml or 25.63 ounces. I just use a mason jar for their water right now.

    Bloody stool? Pics attached!

Their energy level has been normal. I read that when they have coccidiosis they might huddle together but they've always done that.

    Bloody stool? Pics attached!

I noticed this morning what looks like to be bloody stool in my chicks pen. They (2) are about 11 weeks old & have been on Purina medicated feed. Last night I fed them some parsley but I don’t recon that’s the cause. What should I do? Much appreciated!

How long to use medicated chick starter?

I am looking for some insight and came across your comments so I figured I'd ask you a question. I have 2 chick that are about to be 12 weeks old that are still on medicated feed. The chicks are in different living quarters outside than my year old chickens. The chicks and chickens all...
