A couple months later, and I think that he actually did end up blue! He has darker grey speckles on his feathers and a reddish tinge on his tail feathers. This is the most recent picture I have of him currently
Picked up two poults from Rural King so that my 4 year old turkey hen can have some friends. I formerly had 2 others that came with a bunch of chickens I got a couple years back but they ended up being broad breasted so they didn’t live for very long. Anyways, this poult is supposed to be a...
On a happier note, I recently saved a baby starling from one of my chicken coops (my chickens will uh… eat anything that gets in there…) I’ve raised him since and now he’s about 2 months old! His name is Cheese and he’s the sweetest little brat ever :P
Hey guys! Sorry for not posting as of late. I’ve been busy with a lot of other things. Unfortunately, Thin Mint did pass away suddenly a little over a year ago due to unknown causes. I’m glad that I was able to give her a happy life for the time that she was with me though <3
Today my polish silkie mix hatched (yay!) but after reviewing the video I got of it hatching I realized one foot has 5 toes and the other only has 4. I've never heard of this happening so I was wondering if anyone has any chickens like this? The chick is completely fine but I am curious, how...

So I had my youngest group of chicks outside with the broody that raised them and one of the cockerels mounted the broody while she was dustbathing. Has anyone else had this happen? Is it normal? The cockerel is also crowing already along with one of his brothers.
This is him
I have 2 frizzles!
This is Curly Fries. She's a frizzle EE
And this is Raven! She's a frizzled satin silkie. Unfortunately most of the time she is naked because she is constantly broody and plucks out all her feathers.
Here's the mother of the OEGB crosses
Possible fathers. CSC is the first one and the son of him is in the second. The black andalusian (Rainbows mother) is also in the picture shaking her wattles lol
Hello! I recently had one of my OEGB hatch out a clutch of 5 (not planned. By the time I found her nest the eggs were already 1.5 weeks into the incubation period) chicks. One of them is a black andalusian x Cochin silkie cross or a cs cross x another breed. And the rest are OEGB x Cochin silkie...
