I've been searching everywhere for answers, I'm assuming any chicks that have hatched this way either just died or were culled. Ugh I really want to help her 🥺🥺
My uncle asked if I wanted to try & save a new chick before he culled. I've had her for 5 days now & nothing I've tried is helping (did "fix" her original splayed leg, have used the cup trick, & I've wrapped her in a "sitting" position off & on to try to encourage her bones to form correctly)...
Oh yay!! The two roos I had from this hatching were blue cream with silkie feathering & they were very easy to tell, they hadn't stayed crowing yet, but had very noticeable combs & feathering, but she's my only satin, so I just want sure!! Thank you guys, I'm so happy rn!!
I will tomorrow. She's very sweet, not dominant over the other chickens, no crowing. Has squared up with a very obvious rooster we had that hatched the same day, but so had my other girls...
