    Thanks for the advice, we will trim her feathers and apply wound spray and the antibiotics. Not sure if she is emptying her crop or not, that side is swollen so it is hard to tell.

    We do have a rooster, however he is very gentle and does not injure the hens at all. Her wing is not hanging down at all, that is not what she is tripping on. She is raising her leg to her body and tripping over her own chest. We got some more pictures today. Hopefully they make it a little...

    We aren't sure if it's frostbite, it's just a guess. Nowhere else seems to be injured. She does limp on that side though.

    My chicken has a swollen hard spot on her breast and under wing, and when I checked it, there was a big black splotch. She is tripping because of it when she walks. What is it? My theory is frostbite, but I'm not sure. Thanks.
