If you're selling hatching eggs, I'd be interested. I have some Bielefelder chicks on order from McMurray later this spring, but have been a bit worried about ending up with smaller birds. It sounds like you've got some good (large) Bielefelder genetics that I'd love to add to the flock.
Yeah, I probably wouldn't take the chance of adding a new enhanced Delaware blood line either if I were in your shoes. I didn't press the hatchery for which broiler breed they used because the person I was talking to had to ask their manager and was directed to a info sheet that she read off...
Yeah, I agree. I called McMurray just now, specifically to ask about the conflicting information on their page. They said that their line of Delaware Enhanced Broilers meets the definition of heritage breed, but it's lineage has been crossed with a larger broiler to stay true to it's initial...
