    Update following my post last week: We tried the coconut oil on our 3 week old chick at it works!! We gave it to her first thing in the morning Friday with a little chick crumb (separate from other chicks) and followed with gentle circular crop massage 30 minutes after, repeated twice again...

    Hi, thank you, this information is so helpful! I have a 3 week old chick with an impacted crop. Thanks to your article I can rule out sour crop (though will watch for this). Will try the oil and massage as soon as she wakes up in a few hours 🤞
