Search the forums. It helps if you are selling eggs to ensure you are at least covering costs. It also helps you track the slackers.
I only count babies once they start laying. So if I have 20 pullets as soon as I start seeing eggs increase I toss in all 20 into my total hens. It’s not super accurate but it only takes about six weeks for them all to start laying.
I just total eggs and money for the day. The reason is it makes it easier but maybe you give some customers discounts. This way you have total eggs and total $ for the day. Over time you can tell if those discounts are helping or not
