    The light was all wrong for photos this evening but I got some kind of interesting ones. No sign of the Black Chinned male unfortunately, my hubby said that he had not seen him in a few days, so who knows, maybe he's moved on! I like the silhouettes with the light behind the wings, so delicate!

    OK Blooie, this is not a hummingbird but a South African Sunbird (I think, I'll check with her when I next talk to her) on my sister's birdbath in South Africa a couple of years ago. Behaves very similarly to a hummer but there are none on the African continent. I took this with my sisters...

    Well, I just found this thread and spent the better part of 30 mins. going back and enjoying all the pics. I absolutely love my hummers. Mostly Anna's and Rufous although we do have a Black Chinned male at the moment. I have not seen his mate but I do watch them several times a day so...
