I was thinking, too, that maybe there's not enough air flow/oxygen in the frybator somehow? Most of the inexpensive styrofoam units have holes so oxygen can get to the eggs... so maybe after you stop turning, you're not lifting the lid enough to change the air inside, or the chicks' need for air...
