I have one that I know has a dark egg gene, but not so much feather color. I think I'll go with the roo in my avvy. He's got pretty good egg, and the hen can probably fix his comb problem, too.

No, her earlobe is not white. The feathering there has some white, but the skin is red. As for the comb, I don't know what happened. I know, but they're so expensive! I think you have a good mix going, there. Bev focuses more on egg color. I think, I think, LP breeds more to the SOP. One of her cockerels won reserve of breed.
