I think Raven is committed this time, she's been sitting on eggs since yesterday morning. If so, what timing is that? 🤣
I've had the shipped eggs in incubator since yesterday, but I'm thinking give her another day or 2 to be for positive and if she is, give her the shipped eggs. 🙂
Yes, the 7 week olds are all sired by Kong. Angel, Raven and Copper sired by King. So I'm unclear if any chicks hatching from Kong x Angel could still throw Kings issues. I haven't done any Kong x Raven or Copper yet.
I've got 9 more of Kong x Angels eggs under Joannie because I only got the 1-...
Kong, King, Joannie, Jett and Betty came from Meyers as day olds. Ordered 1 male, 4 females but...I'm sure their not related.
Here's a couple pics of Prince (Kings son) before I re-homed him last year.
Yes, parasitic.. it gets confusing still at times. Thanks for the explanation again.
Meyers hatchery in Ohio, been 4 yrs now so I don't know the quality anymore, but I do have a (I believe 2.40 credit there still) with King being my accidental roo.
Your insight and suggestions is always very...
Thank you very much... You've pointed out some I already knew of course but some I didn't and that helps me to see in him what I should be looking at in others. I'll let it sink in and may have more questions I'm sure.

"New information is coming to the news room over a fight occuring over a chicken, sources say one person has...
By all means, explain away. Give your color shade # guess also. Here's her egg color, my darkest layer + twice broody now + head hen and just to recap, Angel (daughter, King x Joannie) was @Chooksman favorite. Now that it's Kong x Joannie the only 2 boys (7 wk olds) I have are from her but over...
7 week old pics are coming soon. I snatched up a couple of them yesterday to check leg bands and their close to needing rebanding.
I gave the ones I got ahold of a look over and some still have the (mottling?) back feathers. But also Joannie's pullets are developing more copper in the hackles...
@BlueTheBrahma would you give Kong a full review? I can either repost last year's pics or try to get up to date pics.
I've noticed recently he's developed a lone white feather in his left wing since his last molt, thinking he should lose it in his next molt but unclear what it means if it grows...
I started a photo dump thread if any one would like to chime in, but everyone here has already seen all the pics coming so, yeah.. Smart aleck comments are always welcome, tho. 🤣
