I take away the hatched chick put it in a brooder until hatch is complete.
These chicks started to hatch on Thursday and finished today, I don't have any problem rebinding them with the mom, but she is sitting on a new batch now.
2 eggs left to hatch, the little black chick lying down is a Blue Isbar but black.
clock wise...12:00 black one to the back "Ursula" BCM, 1:00 blue chick to the right "fern" Blue Isbar, 5:00 BCM "Yawnie", 7:00 a Black blue Isbar "Wanda", 9:00 a blue SFH "Heather".
<-----now the other BCM pipped too, They are noisy, working on zips. I have a broody box ready. Hens are good sitters, IDK how good of mothers they will be. I want to see chicks a few days old before I test'm.
I didn't know this was going on, Sally said I should join.
I set 8 one with the X was not fertile. These are due Fri./Sat. The smaller ones I set one day late to give the big ones a chance to hatch on time. The green L eggs have pips.
Blue Isbars, SFH, and BCM.
These will help you all to look...
