Ok i had that on the other one and my bantams were getting there nails stuck under the cross boards do you think if I caulk the boards it will work or will they eat the caulk

So now i have an issue with my coop the board that I have for them to go in my ducks are having trouble getting up the ramp its too slick what can I put on it to help them
