This year nothing bothered them. Thank goodness.

I now have 4 vines and I'm a bit worried I may have over done myself after seeing how many grapes I got off one vine this year. Lol

A few weeks ago I had a black snake that I r asn off the porch and in a few minutes he came right back trying again. Dh tam him off clear out back in the pasture with a broom. The snake kept stopping and acting like it was going to bite him. It was a 6 footer.

No guineas or chickens any more. I did kill a couple of snakes and give them to my chickens to try to teach them they could eat them. The fought over them awhile then left them alone.

The problem I had with snakes and my Turkey was the eggs. The rat snakes will go under the Turkey for the eggs and young poults.

You should be. Hopefully you'll be able to slow down soon. August is around the corner and it will be dangerous heat.
