    I would rent a bigger tow behind that self feeds. I rented a midsize tow behind without self feed and I felt that was MORE dangerous because is was gravity fed and you had to push stuff into it. I used one of the bigger thicker pieces to ram stuff down. That said - It may be best to hire someone...

    Once again I am way behind. I'll be the voice of (semi) reason. If you haven't already decided, I'd say if you really must have one, then wait till next spring. Everything will be working for you . ie weather , the ability to integrate with more space, etc

    You can frequently find eggs per year info. I'm guessing the lower the number in a heritage breed the longer lived they might be ?? I'm also guessing any hatchery breed bird is going to be geared towards production :mad:
