I think that would be fine, definitely thaw them out first. Banannas, green leaf lettuce, peas and carrots are another good option.

I don't think it matters, I cut them in half for my crickets but peices will work too. They should start coming to it soon!

You can always cut a raw apple or sweet potato in half and give to the roaches. It helps with feeding and keeping them hydrated. Our cricket colony loves raw potatoes and it's a cheap way to feed 'em.

I know one is a Pink Toe and she's chill as can be. We can easily change her water and have our hands near her, sometimes she will let you hold her. She's a nice size and her little toes are pink, her names Pixie. The other one is bigger and I'm not sure which kind he is, I will have to ask my...

Cool! We have two tarantulas. They are awesome. Just a note of caution, if they feel threatened they can flick hairs from their abdomens which can hurt and cause an allergic reaction. Usually just an annoying rash. It's called Urticating hairs. Just a heads up. Definitely don't want one of their...

Yes, thaw them out first then offer the rodent to the snake with tongs. Make sure it's warm enough or the snake may reject it. I give it a shake and make clickity sounds. Helps to make the snake think it's alive lol.

It is. I'd rather not take the risk. For example, I have a rescued rat snake that is blind in his left eye because of a rodent scratch. I took him in a year ago and he happily accepts frozen feeders.

I reccomend frozen feeders because it's easier to come by obviously and less risk of the snake being bitten/scratched by it's prey. Rodent bites are nasty. Rodents can easily break your snake's skin, leaving them susceptible to infections. Many snakes have lost eyes or have suffered other...

Yeah, we do only frozen feed for that reason too. As long as the rat reaches a warm enough temperature, he doesn't know the difference. Husband makes the rat wiggle with the tongs and makes a clickty noise lol

Thanks! It is a lot! Probably too many.. especially with the niles as they can get up to 6ft when full grown. Don't know how that's going to work out! Husband has a bit of an obsession with reptiles lol. I like them but I'm more of a bird lady lol
